It's definitely not over.

I am concerned that there will be some kind of media blackout -- or the equivalent thereof.

I agree AOW that no fly zone was only put there so nobody would report what's going on.

The guy who put up the video says the following in a comment:

I was informed by, Jeff W Ford that this video is a little older than was first thought... Although this was AFTER the stand down, the equipment they brought in was supposedly never used. Me personally, I don't understand why they felt the need to bring this stuff after the stand down and the cattle returned. I do not trust them... the feds don't go away that easy... but we will see what happens. Anyway...Keep in mind that this is not the latest video. Sorry for the misinformation. I will keep you informed as things change. Still waiting to hear from friends at the ranch.

And others noted that this is not the feds. I don't know if that is correct or not. But the video seems to be older than first claimed.

Although, I do think Reid means it when he says its not over. I don't think they already sent people back.

Actually the uploader later commented the following:

There are a few things that I have learned in my life... One of them is to trust my gut feeling. My gut feeling was correct right from the start. Another one is, I trust, Ben Swans reporting. I also learned that, Sheriff Richard Mack is always on the level. I posted this video with more agents and equipment moving in and a couple people told me I was wrong. Well, it looks like it was correct and not wrong after all. If Sheriff Richard Mack says they are getting ready to do a raid, I trust that information 100%. When I tried to make contact with friends at the Bundy Ranch, I couldn't get through... Maybe the lines were shut down... I don't know.

I'll tell you what, I'm not really on Bundy's side. I don't think he has a case, from what I can tell.

HOWEVER, the government response to this needs to be in a court of law, not a battlefield.

If they need to arrest the man and bring him to trial that's another thing.

But that is not what is going on from what I can tell.

That's what I think too. I am only getting the information on this through you guys though. There's almost zero coverage of it other than one FOX News BREAKING NEWS alert a couple of days ago that said that the feds were pulling back or something like that.

Here's why I am on Bundy's side, from the limited amount of information that I have on this: If this were a European country or even Argentina (where most of the Gauchos, our version of cowboys, are armed) the government would have been able to easily defeat them in a confrontation such as this. Especially if it were Europe or Australia where the populace isn't armed or doesn't know about their rights, the government would have come out on top.

The fact that Bundy and his supporters stood up to the Federal Government is why I am on his side. He has no case, like you said, but he and his supporters at least have the balls to stand up to an out of control government. And that counts for something.

BTW WTF is the governor of Nevada doing while the Feds are crawling all over his state? Like I said I really don't understand the situation...seems weird that the governor isn't actively involved. Or is he?

Via Gates of Vienna:
A Tactical Retreat

However, as most of us surmised on Saturday, this was merely a tactical retreat on the part of the BLM and the Obama administration. We are now in a “pay no attention to that man behind the curtain” situation, which is untenable from the point of view of the federal government. In order to work their will upon the American people, the feds must be seen as invincible. But they aren’t — they’ve just proven that they don’t have the guts required to gun down patriotic citizens in cold blood. They have no broad-based support among the people — all they have is fiat money and the unlimited firepower that money can buy.

*******
Read the whole thing - as it includes first hand witness descriptions which reveals the Feds retreat was due to fear not some fictitious deal dreamt up by the admin/msm to save face & buy time to move into the next phase.

9 of the best memes explaining why Cliven Bundy was right and the government was wrong...

Pasto,
I wasn't on Bundy's side until I found out some details about how ranchers are being forced out by federal regulations.

I don't know about you, but I have lost faith in the court system.

Good essay on the topic.
